Library Operations and Covid regulations, DECEMBER 17th 2021Covid Mandate.
Our Community Library is operated within the conditions of it’s contract with the City Council.
The Association has received the following advice from the City Council:-
‘Community Libraries are not listed in the legislated (Covid) mandate therefore checking vaccination status is not required, however, continuing with the Check In App. is (required).’
Your vaccination status will therefore not be checked on entry and visitors must be aware that unvaccinated people may be within the Library.
If you are feeling unwell please stay home. Please be aware of the justifiable health concerns of
our volunteer Library staff, use social distancing, hand sanitiser and consider using face a mask before entering.
If you have concerns for your health and do not wish to enter the Library, please contact staff about possible alternative arrangements – 3409 4243
