Property offences: Between June 9 and June 10, unknown offenders have allegedly entered a dwelling and stolen property from an address in Alexander Street, Macleay Island. QP2001205114 refers.

Drug offences: On June 19, Capalaba Tactical Crime Squad executed a search warrant in William Street, Macleay Island. A 17-year-old boy from Macleay Island was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possess anything used in connection of a crime and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on July 10.

A 38-year-old woman from Macleay Island was issued a Notice to Appear for allegedly permitting use of a place and is due to appear at the Cleveland Magistrates Court on August 27.

Domestic violence: Macleay Island Police have investigated 10 domestic violence incidents.

Traffic: On June 5, an 18-year-old man from Macleay Island was issued a Notice to Appear for speeding, driving unlicensed and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on July 27.

On June 6, a 51-year-old man from Macleay Island was allegedly driving a motor vehicle whilst four times over the legal alcohol limit, recording a reading of 0.208 per cent BAC during a roadside breath test. The man was issued a Notice to Appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on August 3.

Macleay Island Police issued 17 infringement notices for offences of speeding and parking.

As school holidays approach, police would like to remind the community that more children are now out on the roads and to reduce speed and also check parking signs.
