OIC Macleay Island on 

Property offences: Between January 3 and January 7, building materials were allegedly stolen from properties in Double Bay Street, Macleay Island. Police would encourage that all building materials are locked up whilst on site.

Stolen vehicle: Between January 14 and January 17, a green Jeep with Queensland registration 979XQD was reported stolen from a carpark in Macleay Island. Anyone with information, please report it to police. Reference number QP2000201395.

Good order offence: A 58-year-old man from Macleay Island was issued a public nuisance infringement for an incident which allegedly occurred on January 6 in Beelong Street. A 40-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, all from Macleay Island were issued public nuisance infringement notices which occurred on January 6 at Whiting Street.

On January 18, a 49-year-old man from Macleay Island allegedly damaged glass doors and caused a public nuisance at a licensed venue in Macleay Island. The man has been charged with wilful damage and public nuisance at a licensed premise and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on February 25.

Domestic violence: Macleay Island Police have investigated five domestic violence incidents.

Traffic: Redland Bay Water Police have conducted several drug tests whilst on a vessel within the Macleay Island Division. As a result, a 45-year-old man from Redbank Plains was charge with drug driving. A 35-year-old man from Springwood was charged with drug driving. Both are due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on February 24. A 45-year-old man from Macleay Island was also charged with drug driving and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on March 23.

On January 15, a traffic incident occurred on Macleay Island. A 43-year-old woman from Macleay Island was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, drive whilst drug present and fail to remain to provide assistance. She is to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on March 23.

Macleay Island Police issued 18 infringement notices for offences of speeding and parking.
