Information for those attending concerts this weekend

Below you’ll find important details for this Saturday and Sunday’s Elton John concert at ‘A Day on the Green’ at the Sirromet Winery.

Gates open at 4pm with Tate Sheridan performing at about 5.30pm and Elton John performing at about 7pm.

Road closures will be in place and members of the public are asked to be patient and adhere to detour signage and police and traffic controllers, particularly following the event.

There will be traffic disruption on Mount Cotton Road and minimal closure on Woodlands Drive, between Taylor Road and Mount Cotton Road.

If exiting the venue from the main gate onto Mount Cotton Road, all vehicles must turn left (no right turn).

If exiting the venue from the northern gate onto Mount Cotton Road, all vehicles must turn right (no left turn).

Event organisers advise that the best mode of transport to and from the event is by charter bus.

All other drop-offs and pick-ups are via the main gate of Sirromet and drivers will be directed to an internal pick up and drop off area.

Further information about the event and travel arrangements can be found here.
