Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 54-year-old woman reported missing from Macleay Island.

Sara Darby (pictured) was last seen around 2:30am today (November 20), on Timothy Street.

The woman is described as Caucasian, 166cm tall, medium build with light brown hair and blue eyes.

Police hold concerns as she suffers from a medical condition.

Police are appealing for anyone who sees Ms Darby or has further information is urged to contact police.
