My friend, Steven had his verdict quashed in the high court today. I heard about it at about 3.30pm from a very reliable source. I decided to wait until I could independently confirm this. I have done so now from two other sources. Here is the channel 7 news report.
I am waiting to hear from Helen Fennell. The case cannot be retried or reopened, the High court was reported on saying.

It now begs many questions – why was my testimony dismissed, and who and where is the true murderer? Why did the police push so hard for a conviction?
Will there be restitution for a ruined life for Steve and his family?
What will the editor of  ‘The Friendly Bay Islander” , Gerard Thompson have to say about the shoddy reporting of his case. Will he admit his bias and apologise to, mainly, Helen Fennell?
