Street and good order offences: On June 22, a 31-year-old woman from Macleay Island was charged with public nuisance, obstruct police and wilful damage and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on July 16.

On June 22, a 46-year-old woman from Macleay Island was charged with public nuisance and obstruct police and is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on July 23.

Domestic violence: Macleay Island Police have investigated seven domestic violence incidents.

As a result of these investigations, four people have been charged to appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court for Breach of Domestic Violence Orders.

Traffic: Macleay Island Police and the Road Policing Unit have issued 44 infringement notices in June for vehicles incorrectly parked, speeding, driving unregistered and uninsured and for failing to secure loads.

The Officer In Charge of Macleay Island would like to highlight the good community work in obtaining illuminated flashing traffic speed signs in school zones.

There have been eight speeding infringements issued.
