$100,000 FOR DODGY DOGGY DIET ?
Our state government has decided that $100,000 is a justified expense, ahead of community needs. An emergency boat ramp was identified as a priority for Russell Island as the southern half has no escape route off the island by barge or ferry.
I ask which is more important, as do dozens upon dozens of facebook users on various groups.
$100,000 FOR A DOG WEIGHT REDUCTION APP TO A PRIVATE COMPANY.
GOOD IDEA OR WOULD MONEY BE BETTER SPENT, – IF PUSH CAME TO SHOVE AND THAT WAS NEEDED FOR A RAMP – ON A BOAT RAMP FOR EMERGENCY EVACUATION OF SOUTHERN RUSSELL?
This website allows anyone to vote (ONCE ONLY) not just the members of the particular group.
Additionally I sent the following email, (at the bottom, after the poll) to out State representative, I also intend to publish in my DOTS (Directory Of Trades and Services) paper, over 4000 papers delivered to all letterboxes on the SMBI.

Here is the poll:

On all fairness Kim replied to a text message sent at 8.44pm at 8.49.
It was not a ‘pleasant’ text message, polite but very much to the point.
She stated she will call me tomorrow, fair enough.
Firstly I have phoned your office on repeated occasions, usually for a ‘really positive’ reason, those which are complimentary rather than critical . I am yet to hear back from you – even once. I keep getting the same, unhelpful female staffer (not only my opinion btw).
I find this very hurtful, as it was I who published the video for your election campaign, the one where you kindly came to visit me at home, as my MS prevented me meeting you elsewhere. Now you are elected, I haven’t heard a word, nor a single press release.
A weight loss program for dogs costing $100,000. Money better spent toward an emergency boat ramp for Russell, Lamb or Karragarra (macleay already has a western ramp at Dalpura Beach.
I intend to do an online survey, imagine the response. I also am now again in the print media, delivering to all island letterboxes, like my opposition, the Friendly Bay Islander. However, UNLIKE my opposition, I also deliver, at last delivery an extra 500 to prominent shopfronts, such as the IGA, Emerald Isle shopping centre, the 5 Star supermarket and the Pub and Golf club. Next edition will increase to 5,000 copies – the extra to fill demand from shopfronts.
I would politely suggest that it would be in your best interests to firstly respond to this email, as I intend to print this communication to both facebook (approx 4,000 members) and my NewSite – www.bayislandnews.com.au (up to 10,000 page views per month – confirmed by Google Analytics, the Gold standard).
I’ll be uploading a survey/poll to my NewSite, (within 48 hours or less – creating it right now, as of 5.30 pm)promoted via facebook and my paper (due out in 10 days, approximately)
I would further also politely suggest that you should, as a matter of priority, to attend to the Rocky point boat ramp as a more important issue than dog overweight matters.
Kim’s reply, very prompt only 5 minutes later.
