Dinner and a Documentary movie (or two)

Dinner and a Documentary movie (or two)

On Saturday 28th April, there will be an event held on Russell Island at 6.30pm.

Ann Hagan feels strongly about the threats that the Adani coalmine project pose, I agree and so, here is the post which Ann uploaded to Facebook and information about the evening.

Hope people would like some great food and interesting viewing next Saturday on Russell – Anglican Church Hall
Fabulous finger food catering which includes roast vegie bites, devils on horseback, mini cheese and tomato
toasties, garlic bread and maybe little Peking Duck style pancakes with hoisin sauce… plus beetroot and horseradish dip. And more!

Covered by donation.

We have a guest speaker from Stop Adani – Barbara Bell – to talk about Adani water issues involving the Great Artesian Basin. We also have two short videos on the water issues as well as the 30 minute documentary A Mighty Force – which celebrates what we’ve done so far with people power in action and the need for more.

So who is coming?
Inter island ferry arrives 6.15.
Walk up the hill to the Anglican Church Hall on the right.
Ferry leaves for other islands and the mainland at 8.30.
Need an idea of numbers if people are interested.

if people can RSVP by Friday 27th. Call Ann Hagen on 0424404942. Basically organised by me on behalf of the SMBI Stop Adani group.
